Old Sowtontown, on the Western edge of Dartmoor & inside the National Park, consists of two self-catering properties, the Barn & the Shippen – traditional buildings set in a disused farmyard. The Barn with three bedrooms sleeps up to 6 while the Shippen is more suited to a couple or a family of 3-4. 
This is an ideal base for walking on the open moor (only 10mins walk up a no through lane) and the many footpaths in the immediate countryside, or for exploring the wonderful coastlines and other attractions of Devon and Cornwall.
