A bigger, better Liverpool Museum
We are building a bigger,
better Liverpool Museum. As a result the some galleries are temporarily
closed to the public. However, there is still lots to see and do,
including special exhibitions of Vivienne Westwood: the collection of Romilly
McAlpine (until 30 September) www.liverpoolmuseum.org.uk/westwood and Horrible
Histories: Funfair of Fear (from 19 October to 6 January).
There will be eight new
attractions opening during the summer and autumn of 2002 including The
Bug House, Aquarium, Living Laboratory, Discovery Centre, Treasure House,
InfoWorld Theatre and World Cultures gallery. The building improvements
have been supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, European Regional Development
Fund, Littlewoods and the Friends of NMGM.
Opening times: Monday
- Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 12-5pm |
